Dr. Adam CHEE is the Chief, Smart Health Leadership Centre at the Institute of System Science (ISS), National University of Singapore (NUS). The Mini-HI™ was developed by Adam in his previous role as Chief Advocacy Officer of BinaryHealthCare, a Singapore-based social enterprise (2002 - 2020) serving to “Bridge the eHealth Divide” (in both LAMIC and Developed Countries) by enabling sustainable innovation in patient-centered care through stakeholders empowerment to achieve context-effective adoption of Digital Health as an enabler.
As an industry pioneer, Adam receives requests (since the early stage of his career) to deliver presentations and lectures at conferences, institutions of higher learning around the region and subsequently, to develop relevant curriculum in various aspects of health informatics. However, Adam quickly realized that silo based training often results in the inability to appreciate or understand the true value and application of Health Informatics, this served as the motivation to create the Mini-HI™ program.
